We are currently seeking a personable, energetic, professional Patient Care Associate to join our outstanding team! The Patient Care Associate is responsible for greeting the patients as they enter the practice, check-in, check-out, scheduling, and other administrative tasks.What You Will Do: Greeting patients professionally, both in person and on the phoneQuickly answering or properly referring questions and issuesOptimizing provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient schedulingNotifying providers of patient arrivalsComforting patients by anticipating anxieties and effectively answering questionsEnsuring availability of treatment information by retrieving and updating patient recordsVerifying financial records and collecting patient charges while filing and expediting third-party claimsMaintaining office inventory and equipment by anticipating supply needs and expediting supply ordersProvide excellent customer service$15.00 - $18.00 an hourPay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as, but not limited to full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility, annual educational reimbursement, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.What You Will Bring: High School diploma or GED equivalent is requiredDetail-oriented and ability to multitaskExceptional customer service skills.Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.Knowledge of MS Office.Knowledge of electronic medical records software is a plus.Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
