This is a phenomenal opportunity to join an innovative, fast-paced organization with an employee focused culture and put their mark on something meaningful.This individual will be responsible for scaling up small volume to medium volume projects and developing a manufacturable process during this scale up. This individual will have swiss technicians report directly to them and would be responsible for the work of the group. They would be responsible for creating programs using Esprit and or Solidcam and planning and ordering all materials and tooling necessary for small batch runs done in the lab. They would also coordinate with other engineers in the lab to plan equipment. Assist in transitioning Lightspeed projects to production through the defined PReP process in a small team and collaborative environment.1st shift: 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday)Perform equipment set up utilizing loosely defined set up process.Participate in process development (basic programming modifications).Run R&D parts ensuring consistent quality is achievedComplete job-related paperwork according to quality and setup procedures.Utilize optical inspection equipment to perform tight tolerance visual inspection of R&D parts.Must ensure assigned tasks are completed within the defined timeline while ensuring safety and quality are never sacrificed. Routine Maintenance and basic troubleshooting of laser workstations.Provide project guidance to Applications Development TechniciansProvide technical skill training to laser operatorsOversee Lightspeed job ensuring consistent quality is achieved, participate in basic process development on Resonetics technologyMentor and train technicians and operators.Work with customers on new projectsHelp with equipment setup utilizing loosely defined setup process and basic troubleshooting of Resonetics technology workstationsAbility to work under minimal supervision, taking responsibility to complete assigned tasksDocument process parameters and project details for each Lightspeed project accurately per Resonetics Quality Systems requirementsGood understanding of how to develop processesUpdate data in Resonetics digital systems for responsibilities as instructed with feedback from EngineeringUtilize applicable inspection equipment to perform tight tolerance visual inspection of Lightspeed product for complex partsRead and interpret print specifications on Lightspeed projects, ensure allrequired visual and geometric measurements are taken and documented per Quality Systems requirementsMust ensure assigned tasks are completed within the defined timeline whileensuring safety and quality are never sacrificedSeeks continuous self-improvement, open and willing to accept constructivecriticismProvide project guidance and technical skill training for Application Development TechniciansDemonstrating and training manufacturing methods to Production operators to support new Resonetics programsAbility to adapt quickly and positively to changing priorities and processesEmployee must conduct themselves in a professional and appropriate manner and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of conduct and job performance.Actively participate in continuous improvement activities.Other duties as assigned.High School diploma or EquivalentAbility to read and understand engineering drawings using a GD&T systemAbility to create job related documentation for quality purposesProficient with the use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier, microscope, and/or equipment used for measuring capacityProficient working with multiple axis motion controllersAbility to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processesAbility to work under minimal supervisionStrong communication and organizational skillsMonitor the taskings of Applications Development Technicians Coordination/training of Production staff supportExperience with industrial laser such as excimer, CO2, DPSS, ultrafast and beam deliveriesBasic understanding of laser-material interaction for a specific application (i.e. laser welding, excimer laser- polymer, etc.) and how to apply that understandingAbility to generate machine motion control programs (i.e. G-Code)Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturingAbility to create and troubleshoot programs for inspection devices and other auxiliary equipmentAbility to generate drawings and models (2D & 3D CAD) using GD&TStanding and walking for short periods of time.Ability to use a microscope, including manipulating small object under a microscope.Thecompensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $30-40/hrFor temp, temp-to-hire, and regular full-time positions, our company policy is that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship.
