Start a career with us today!The general role of the General Laborer will include site preparation, loading/unloading materials, assisting skilled tradespeople, operating hand tools and light machinery. The General Laborer will support the Fiber Optics Department in Farmington, NM. The General Laborer position will require a flexible work schedule and a willingness to travel, work extended hours to include weekends, holidays, evenings and extensive overnight/out-of-town work as needed.Perform the day to day tasks assigned by the customer, foremen, or superintendentAssist with the Fiber team with consistent quality and safe work practicesMaintaining cleanliness of work areasMust be able to operate hand power toolsWillingness to cut brush, clear grounds, use picks, shovels, wheelbarrows, axes, etc. Cleans and prepares sites, digs trenches, and assists with repairsLoading and unloading trucksOther DutiesThis job posting is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required for this position.
