Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Analyst supporting the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. The AFPEO Digital mission encompasses the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of over 130 programs for the U.S. Air Force and allied partners.The Senior Cost Analyst will provide support in cost estimating, contract pricing, and financial analysis across the acquisition lifecycle.In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.ResponsibilitiesPerform routine cost estimating methods such as analogy, engineering or scientific methodology, and extrapolationPerform cost estimating outputs to assess the impact various factors have on costs to design, research, develop, operate, maintain, and dispose of a particular weapon systemAnalyze all elements affecting costs for a project of limited scopeAnalyze contractor financial data using Earned Value Management (EVM) measures of merit to determine program viability with respect to cost and schedule performanceApply analytical processes such as problem setup, background research, data collection and reduction, data display, mathematical modeling, and drawing conclusionsProvide contract pricing support services across all acquisition phases including development, award, management, measurement, and closeoutPrepare draft pricing briefings, correspondence, and reportsDevelop pricing-related evaluation criteria, track pre-award milestones and statusSupport source selection teams in evaluating cost proposalsPrepare pricing documentation for Government Contracting Officer review and approvalPrepare pricing spreadsheets of technical proposals and perform other pricing analyses to support evaluationsProvide pricing support to construct agency pricing reports and other documents in response to protests or claimsAccess, populate, and analyze information in organizational pricing-related databasesApply knowledge of the budgetary cycle (planning, programming, justification, and execution) to support program initiationApply experience in quantitative analysis and calculusCitizenship: Must be a US citizenMinimum Required QualificationsClearance: Must have and be able to maintain a Secret clearanceEducation: Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experienceand 5 of which must be in the DoD or 15 years of directly related experience, 8 of which must be in the DoDPreferred QualificationsEducation: Master DegreeTechnical SkillsCost estimating methods (analogy, engineering/scientific methodology, extrapolation)Earned Value Management (EVM) analysisQuantitative analysis and calculusKnowledge of budgetary cycle phases (planning, programming, justification, execution)Pricing and cost proposal evaluationInterpersonal SkillsAbility to prepare briefings, reports, and documentation for government reviewProblem setup and analytical reasoningCollaboration with source selection teamsAdditional InformationLocation: Hanscom AFB, MATravel: Up to 10%Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Onsite#LI-JG1Odyssey Systemsis a world-class technical, engineering, and integration company serving the warfighting ecosystem with airborne integration, ISR, C2, and warfighter readiness capabilities.
