This role is responsible for driving process improvements across manufacturing and packaging operations, with a strong focus on Lean Manufacturing, safety, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including Product Development, Quality Control, and Manufacturing—to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and implement best practices that enhance productivity and quality.Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, you will lead and support projects that require effective planning, execution, and change management. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to foster team engagement while managing multiple priorities. If you're passionate about operational excellence and building high-performing teams, this is the opportunity for you.Key ResponsibilitiesWork directly with Manufacturing, QC, and Manufacturing Engineering to gather, set-up, and research data to find wasteAnalyze existing processes and procedures, and make recommendations for improvementIdentify and troubleshoot process issues and bottlenecksManage the implementation of process improvementsIdentify, quantify, implement and track improvement initiativesTrack and present process improvement progress.Send updates and reports on a scheduled or timely mannerKeep projects on track by assisting Manufacturing and Packaging with prioritizing deliverables as needed to meet deadlinesManage and facilitate project status meetings by way of agenda creation, recording and dissemination of detailed meeting minutes, reviewing timelines, and assigning action itemsHelp maintain newly implemented processesManage updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Other duties as assignedWhat you'll need:Experience / Training / EducationMinimum of 1-4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing process engineering or a closely related field, with demonstrated success in driving process improvements and collaborating across cross-functional teams Project management skillsPresentation and leadership skillsDocument control experienceProficient in essential computer software including all Microsoft Office programs, SharePoint, and Finesse.Production scheduling experience is preferredCollege degree or relevant work experience requiredKnowledge of: Lean ManufacturingSix Sigma MethodologiesChange Management strategiesSkills/Abilities:Ability to independently define problems, collect and analyze data, prioritize tasks, and draw valid conclusions to achieve goalsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively across diverse teams and personality typesDetail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skillsEffective communicator with strong verbal and written communication abilitiesSkilled in presenting information and responding to questions clearly and confidentlyProven ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentExceptional problem-solving and multi-tasking capabilitiesFlexible and open to learning new systems, processes, and technologiesAbility to maintain a high level of accuracy, including reading fine printCompletes other duties as assigned*This position requires GMP training and certification*CompensationThe current range for this remote role based out of the Gig Harbor, WA is $73,000/yr. to $87,000/yr.The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.This role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.Health and Wellness:Medical, dental, visionAnnual employer HSA (Health Savings Account) funding for eligible employees who elect an HSA medical planSTD, LTD, Basic Life AD&D coverage401k + employer matchingVacation and Sick Time2 Volunteer Days off per yearEmergency evacuation time off11 paid company holidays1 Floating holiday to celebrate your birthday or important religious/holiday to youQuarterly product allowance to use towards your favorite Metagenics products!Product discountPeer to peer recognition programs & more!Metagenics, and its companies are committed to providing equal employment opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, or any other protected status with respect to recruitment, hiring, promotion and other terms and conditions of employment.
