As a Chick-fil-A Supply Yard Coordinator, you will move tractors, trailers, and straight trucks in a safe, accurate, and timely manner at distribution center yards. You are a safe, professional driver who follows all company policies and laws and regulations regarding commercial drivers. Additional benefits to help you thrive in all areas of life, including emotional, social, physical, financial, and spiritual!In addition to making safe, accurate, and timely yard movements, the yard coordinator will:Ensure that all transportation assets are located in the proper places on the yard at the appropriate times andassist in yard auditsOn occasion support asset fueling at our on-site fuel locationOn occasion support asset washing at our on-site wash bayMove both 3rd Party Carrier trailers and assets from Chick-fil-A Supply’s private fleetComply with all regulatory and company policy requirements:Operating within hours of service limits per the use of an electronic logging device (ELD)Maintain an acceptable Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) recordFollow all pre- and post-trip equipment inspection and DVIR reporting proceduresFollowing all policies and procedures in the FSMA regarding safe food transportImmediately notifying team leaders of any accident or on the job injury and complete reportsWearing appropriate personal protective gear as required per policyAbide by yard safety procedures, speed limits, parking, pedestrian crossings, safety vestsAttend scheduled safety and job training sessionsReport defects, accidents or violationsOther duties as may be assignedRequired Business Qualifications:Manage time off to ensure proper rest and operate in compliance with DOT regulationsMaintain a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and overtime as neededPrepare for shifts to rotateAttend shift in proper attire and with PPE and safety equipment as required by company guidelinesWork in a multi-temperature environment including freezer temperaturesCommunicate effectively with stakeholders including Distribution Center staffAdapt to change and respond to difficult and challenging situations in a professional mannerManage pressure and conflicting demands; prioritize tasks and workloadAble to travel 5% for supplier visits and/or stranded tractor/trailer movements due to Hours of Service constraints on delivery driversHigh School or equivalent (GED)Minimum 21 years of ageOccasionally lift up to 55 pounds, and/or move pallets/carts with mechanical assistance up to 2,000 poundsPerform work in all weather conditionsHave and maintain an acceptable CDL A and MVR in compliance with DOT requirementsPrior experience as a yard jockey or coordinating a transportation yard15%High School Diploma or GED
