This program will establish a unified MBSE architecture across U.S. Intelligence Centers to accelerate weapons system analysis and enhance Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) capabilities.Join a cross-agency national team supporting:NASIC (Dayton, OH)ONI (Suitland, MD)MSIC (Redstone Arsenal, AL)NGIC (Charlottesville, VA)Your Role: Learn, Contribute, and GrowAs a Junior MBSE Engineer, you will:Develop and maintain model-based system architectures using SysML and DoDAFAssist in modeling foreign missile systems and Command & Control (C2) structures in support of national defense analysisCollaborate with senior engineers and government stakeholders to deliver high-quality modeling productsParticipate in on-site and remote support to multiple IC organizationsContribute to technical documentation, data traceability, and systems integrationGrow your skills in MBSE tools and methodologies through hands-on mission workRequired Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of relevant experience; OR 0+ years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an additional 4 years can be substituted in lieu of degreeTS/SCI clearance or TS with the ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraphFoundational understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and modeling frameworksFamiliarity with ITASE (Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment)Exposure to SysML and/or DoDAF-compliant modeling practicesStrong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skillsWillingness to support efforts across multiple government sites and collaborate with diverse technical teamsPreferred Qualifications:Experience using tools such as:Cameo Systems Modeler, Teamwork Cloud, Simulink, MATLAB, STK, Jira, ConfluenceExperience supporting DoD or IC customersInterest in missile systems, C2 architecture, or defense technologyPeraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
