You will also attend a thorough orientation and training to excel in your role.As a Med Tech you will be in charge of:Providing assistance to residents with daily living activities such as transferring in and out of bed, bathing, dressing, toileting, and walkingAdministering medications and injections to residents based on physicians’ orders recorded in medical chartsEnsuring the cleanliness of the environment which may involve light housekeeping dutiesComply with all safety and health standards, including infection control proceduresMonitoring for changes in residents’ conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the supervisorFollowing schedule, assisting residents with repositioningAdhering to procedures regarding documenting of medications accuratelyUtilize good judgment in providing client care and ensuring their safetyAssisting other team members with their duties as necessaryResponding to call lights and assess residents’ needs promptlyObtain meal trays and assist with eatingOther duties as assigned by supervisorBenefits we can provide you:ROOM FOR GROWTHEmployee Recognition eventsPAID TIME OFF starts day oneMedical, dental and vision benefits for full time employees(30 hour or more)Paid orientation and trainingRequirements we ask of you:Ability to pass a criminal background checkMinimum age of 18 years oldExperience in medication administration and working with seniorsHigh school diploma or GEDReliable transportationAvailability to work every other weekend is requiredDaily Pay, access your pay when you need it
