We are committed to providing best-in-class patient care, pioneering research and technology, and most importantly, rewarding and recognizing our employees!The ASC (Surgery) Manager is a member of the operating room team and is responsible for providing a safe and efficient environment for the patient during the pre-, intra- and post-operative phases of the stay. This position coordinates, facilitates, and manages change efforts in the ASC while managing budgetary responsibilities. The ASC Manager promotes a favorable image of the facilities to staff, physicians, patients, and the public.Supervises the ASC team to include RNs, Scrub Technicians, Surgery Assistants, and Front Office ReceptionistsEncourages a team-oriented environment and follows company guidelines and policiesMaintains personnel files, mentors, and coaches team to improve performance and enhance skillsManages budgetary responsibilities for surgery centerPerforms the duties of a peri-operative staff nurseEnsures facility environmental standards are metMaintains current knowledge of procedures as appropriate to the practice area and provides in-service education opportunities for new equipment and techniquesOversees inventory of supplies and medicationsMaintains logbooks with current information Performs quality assurance activities and conduct quarterly QA meetingsImplements Life Safety guidelines and monitors compliance to Life Safety regulations including conducting quarterly fire drillsEnsures all equipment is in working orderMonitors vendor performance and reports via the QA processPerforms additional duties as assignedGraduate of an accredited school of Nursing requiredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredCurrent RN License in Arizona BCLS and ACLS certifications 3+ years of management experiencePrevious experience working in an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)Strong financial aptitude and computer skillsAbility to lead a team by demonstrating a positive attitude, openness to change, willingness to help, and respect for others and their ideasExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail oriented, reliable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume work environmentAbility to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalismFlexible schedule Monday through FridayYour health, happiness and your future matters!
