If you have the required skill set, education requirements, and experience, please click the submit button and follow the next steps.Unless specifically stated otherwise, this role is, 'On-Site' at the location detailed in the job post.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Promote a safe working environmentUnderstands and adheres to all Silgan safety policies and procedures to prevent injury to self and co-workersMonitor ware for quality defects and promptly inform the operator and/ or the coordinator.Pack at standard rate.Operate a punch.Load conveyors and flamers.Practice housekeeping on assigned line(s) and around machine including mopping if necessary.Remove scrap from around the line.Grind and pull plastic as needed.Make and unitize cartons as itial and date box labels.Make out unit tickets.Do any other work as assigned by the Supervisor.
