Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our client in Concord, California. In this role, you will oversee the complete accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial reporting and streamlined operations. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your expertise and grow within the organization. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance. u2022 Record vendor invoices and expenses with precision and efficiency. u2022 Prepare and reconcile bank statements to ensure accurate financial tracking. u2022 Handle customer billing and invoicing, maintaining timely and accurate records. u2022 Process employee timesheets and oversee payroll system operations. u2022 Generate monthly and quarterly financial statements for internal review. u2022 Maintain compliance with accounting standards and practices. u2022 Collaborate with team members to improve accounting workflows and processes. u2022 Support financial audits and tax preparation activities as needed. Requirements u2022 Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting is preferred. u2022 Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant. u2022 Ability to meet strict deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. u2022 Previous experience with system implementations is highly desirable. u2022 Familiarity with the construction industry is a plus. u2022 Exceptional communication skills and a meticulous approach to work.
