Description Established mid sized law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join their team. As part of a mission-driven law firm, you will have the opportunity to work on diverse and meaningful litigation matters, primarily focused on real estate and public entity law. This role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office collaboration with flexible remote options. Responsibilities: u2022 Handle complex litigation cases for clients. u2022 Manage cases from inception to resolution, including pretrial litigation, discovery, and trial preparation. u2022 Draft and present motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity. u2022 Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic advice to clients. u2022 Represent clients during oral arguments, hearings, and trials. u2022 Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality legal services and successful case outcomes. u2022 Negotiate settlements and agreements effectively with opposing parties. u2022 Provide mentorship and leadership to less experienced attorneys and legal staff. u2022 Maintain up-to-date knowledge of California law and legal practices. u2022 Work seamlessly in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote work commitments. Requirements u2022 Active membership in the California State Bar with at least 5 years of experience practicing law. u2022 Proven expertise in civil litigation, including trial experience and law and motion proceedings. u2022 Strong skills in legal research, negotiation, and communication, both verbal and written. u2022 A Juris Doctor (JD) degree with a record of academic excellence. u2022 Extensive experience managing cases from start to finish, including discovery and trial preparation. u2022 Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also handling independent responsibilities. u2022 Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
