Probate Attorney

Description We are looking for a skilled Probate Attorney to join our legal team in Orinda, California. In this role, you will handle probate and trust litigation matters, managing cases through all phases of litigation, including trial preparation and court appearances. This position offers an opportunity to work on complex legal issues while contributing to a dynamic and collaborative environment. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage probate and trust litigation cases from inception through resolution. u2022 Prepare and draft legal motions, briefs, and other necessary documentation. u2022 Conduct thorough discovery processes, including depositions and interrogatories. u2022 Represent clients effectively in court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings. u2022 Collaborate with clients to provide strategic guidance and address their legal needs. u2022 Analyze and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations relevant to probate and trust litigation. u2022 Develop case strategies and prepare for trial, ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients. u2022 Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with all legal standards. u2022 Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions when appropriate. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on probate and trust matters. u2022 Active licensure as an attorney in the state of California. u2022 Strong skills in drafting motions, briefs, and other legal documents. u2022 Proficiency in conducting discovery, including depositions and interrogatories. u2022 Solid courtroom experience, including trial preparation and representation. u2022 In-depth knowledge of probate laws and trust litigation. u2022 Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. u2022 Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
