Estate Planning Attorney

Description We are looking for an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to join our team in Orinda, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate law and possess the expertise to guide clients through the complexities of wills, trusts, and tax planning. This role offers an opportunity to work on a variety of legal matters, including drafting comprehensive estate plans and managing related legal documents. Responsibilities: u2022 Develop tailored estate plans for clients, incorporating their unique financial and personal needs. u2022 Draft and review legal documents such as irrevocable and revocable trusts, wills, and powers of attorney. u2022 Advise clients on estate tax implications and assist in the preparation of necessary tax forms. u2022 Provide guidance on asset protection strategies and wealth transfer planning. u2022 Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals and recommend appropriate legal solutions. u2022 Stay informed about changes in estate law to ensure compliance and provide up-to-date advice. u2022 Collaborate with other professionals, such as financial advisors, to create cohesive estate strategies. u2022 Represent clients in legal proceedings related to estate planning, when necessary. Requirements u2022 A minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning or a related legal field. u2022 Strong knowledge of estate law, including trusts, wills, and tax planning. u2022 Proficiency in drafting estate planning documents such as revocable and irrevocable trusts. u2022 Familiarity with estate tax return preparation and associated regulations. u2022 Excellent communication and client relationship management skills. u2022 Licensed to practice law in the state of California. u2022 Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex legal issues.
