Job Title: Electronic Assembler Job Description This position involves performing a variety of routine electronic assembly operations. The role requires conducting inspections of both personal and colleagues' work to ensure accuracy. It involves using hand and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints, including screwdrivers and crimpers. The assembler will apply process specifications governing the production of products within an assigned cell and record production time and quantity data. A strong emphasis is placed on demonstrating all safety policies and procedures, with openness to cross-training. Responsibilities + Perform a variety of routine electronic assembly operations. + Conduct inspections of own and others' work to ensure correctness. + Use hand tools and power tools to assemble products based on blueprints. + Apply process specifications in production within an assigned cell. + Record production time and quantity data. + Demonstrate and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. + Open to cross-training in different assembly processes. Essential Skills + At least 1 year of electronic assembly experience. + Ability to read and communicate in English. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for assembly. + Familiarity with electronic assembly, wire harness assembly, conformal coating, soldering, and assembling cables for commercial and military aircraft. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in aerospace is a plus but not required. + High School Diploma required; BA/BS required for leadership roles. + Knowledge of RF testing on network analyzers and soldering standards like J Standard and IPC 610. Employees work Monday to Thursday on the second shift from 3:30 PM, with initial training on the first shift from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The assignment is a 90-working-day temp-to-hire opportunity, approximately 4 months in duration. Steel-toe shoes and safety glasses are required, and attendance is critically important. Tenure is highly valued. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Simi Valley, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.68 - $22.68/hr.
