Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer (Level 2)

Description: We are _Lockheed Martin_ Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer This is a deployed position in Greater Seattle Area (Everett-WA) areas working at various LM supplier companies. (Telecommuter remote work location to be reasonable driving distance to LM assigned suppliers as defined in agreement with manager). u2022 The selected candidate will be responsible for achieving total quality performance across multiple sites for strategic suppliers that produce major airframe and systems components. u2022 Candidate needs working knowledge background in GD&T, Inspection methods, Tooling, AS9100, AS9102. working knowledge of Six Sigma, preventive tools PDCA, PFMEA, Mistake Proofing and Gap Analysis. u2022 Must have knowledge and effectively apply root cause analysis, Cause Mapping, Cause & Effect diagrams, Pick Charts and, structured RCCA for effective corrective action. u2022 Goals are to lead the supplier through the process of developing and executing plans that ensure long term flow of defect-free products in support of LM Aero production. u2022 The selected candidate will be accountable for collaborating with functional organizations and leadership at the supplier sites and at LM Aero to solve technical and contractual issues, and for ensuring supplier performance is aligned with quality goals while sustaining production delivery requirements. u2022 Must be a US Citizen. Basic Qualifications: u2022 Bachelors degree from an accredited college in STEM. u2022 Proficient in Blueprint Reading and First Article Inspection (FAI). u2022 Interpretation of Engineering Process Specifications. u2022 Background in verification of mechanical methods for complex machined parts and assemblies. u2022 Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) u2022 Knowledgeable level RCCA ensuring effectiveness of CA plans. u2022 Knowledgeable in surveillance of QMS / manufacturing processes. u2022 Must be within a reasonable driving distance to LM assigned suppliers as defined in agreement with manager. Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990.
