For information about ABMu2019s benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits Front Line Team Members ( (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) Basic Qualifications: u2022 Must be 18 years of age or older u2022 No experience required and on the job training provided u2022 No high school diploma, GED or college degree required Preferred Qualifications: + Must be over 18 years of age. + Minimum 5-year experience with floor care (carpeting) + High school Diploma or G.E.D required. + Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English + Prior experience in industrial or commercial cleaning preferred. Responsibilities: Operate carpet cleaning machines, floor scrubbers, and other industrial cleaning equipment. + Strip, wax, and finish tile flooring according to facility standards. + Perform deep cleaning tasks in labs, offices, and other designated areas. + Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures. + Maintain and inspect cleaning equipment to ensure proper functionality. + Handle and store cleaning chemicals safely and in compliance with OSHA regulations. + Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. + Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and supply usage. + Collaborate with other team members to ensure a clean and safe working environment. + Exposure to cleaning chemicals and machinery noise. + Requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds for extended periods of time. + May involve working in labs with sensitive equipment and materials. A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
