Description We are looking for an Accounting Clerk to join a dynamic manufacturing team in Syracuse, New York. This is a Contract-to-permanent position that offers an opportunity to contribute to essential accounting and administrative functions while working in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: u2022 Monitor and control access to secured areas within the facility, ensuring proper authorization and courteous interactions with visitors. u2022 Coordinate visitor needs, including conference room preparation, kitchen stocking, and lunch arrangements, while maintaining cleanliness and organization. u2022 Manage inventory levels for office and kitchen supplies, process employee requests, and place orders to maintain stock availability. u2022 Handle mail processing, including receiving, reviewing, and distributing incoming mail, calculating postage fees, and managing mailing supplies. u2022 Perform errands for supplies and miscellaneous needs based on company requirements. u2022 Carry out clerical tasks such as scanning, data entry, typing, filing, and document compilation as needed. u2022 Process and maintain miscellaneous documents with accuracy and confidentiality. u2022 Utilize computer applications, including Microsoft Excel, to support administrative and accounting tasks. u2022 Foster a safe and respectful workplace environment by adhering to company policies and promoting harmony. u2022 Ensure compliance with company SOPs, GMPs, and established policies. Requirements u2022 Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. u2022 Familiarity with QuickBooks for efficient financial management. u2022 Strong data entry skills with attention to detail. u2022 Experience in invoice processing and related accounting tasks. u2022 Ability to manage inventory and supply orders effectively. u2022 Competence in handling administrative duties, including document management and mail processing. u2022 Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications. u2022 Excellent organizational and communication skills to interact with visitors and team members.
