Industrial Engineer

Job Title: Industrial EngineerJob Description We are seeking a proficient Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining work standards for direct labor and machine cycle times to enhance manufacturing performance. This role involves conducting time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis using pre-determined time study techniques such as Work Factor and MTM. You will play a vital role in optimizing workflows and spatial utilization within operations. Responsibilities + Create and maintain facility and process layouts using AutoCAD, planning the layout of equipment, offices, and production facilities to optimize manufacturing operations. + Participate in continuous improvement projects and cost reduction programs using lean manufacturing techniques and industrial engineering tools to minimize operational costs. + Conduct work sampling studies for indirect labor to optimize labor and processes, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. + Perform capacity analysis and related studies for both short and long-term manufacturing planning. + Conduct research, testing, data gathering, measurements, or engineering analysis in various environments, including office, laboratory, or manufacturing. + Provide engineering support on complex projects or technical assignments under the guidance of an Industrial Engineering Manager, in collaboration with more experienced engineers. + Design tests or experiments to support project targets and independently compile data for project or team review. + Ensure designs, testing, and analysis comply with TS and ISO procedures. + Meet customer requirements through diligent engineering practices. Essential Skills + 3+ years of Industrial Engineering experience + Experience with QAD (ERP System) + Proficiency in data analysis, cycle time studies, plant layouts, and capacity studies + Proficiency in AutoCAD or Solidworks Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, and manufacturing processes + Experience with lean manufacturing techniques Work Environment The role involves working in diverse environments, including office, laboratory, and manufacturing settings. The position requires the use of AutoCAD and Solidworks for creating and maintaining facility layouts. You will engage in continuous improvement projects and interact with various teams to ensure manufacturing processes are optimized and compliant with industry standards. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of North Baltimore, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $95000.00/yr. Competitive benefits package.
