Project FINDu2019s mission is to provide low- and moderate-income and homeless seniors with the services and support they need to enrich their lives and live independently. Today Project FIND operates three supportive housing residences that are home to about 600 people and four senior centers with over 3,000 members. Our members and residents range from the healthy and active to the frail and homebound to the homeless. For all these men and women, Project FIND is a critical resource, providing housing, meals, and programs that help individuals navigate the challenges of aging by encouraging community engagement and healthy living. Please visit our website at: Summary: The Front Desk Monitor 2 plays a critical role in the housing program as this position is the first point of contact for both clients, visitors, and vendors. They help coordinate non-clinical needs of clients by assisting the Front Desk Monitor 1, as well as clients, staff and vendors with daily requests and needs. They also control the front door and assist staff in crisis situations as they occur. It is expected that the Front Desk Monitor 2 provides excellent customer service at all times. This position also conducts regular tours of the building, monitors activities of the lobby area and completes incident reports, as appropriate. Responsibilities include: u2022 Greets all visitors entering the facility by announcing their arrival to staff and clients. u2022 Ensures all visitors sign in and out as required. u2022 Prepares logs and reports related to front desk events in electronic records system. u2022 Observes and reports incidents, concerning activities, and high-risk situations to appropriate staff. u2022 Monitor's entrance and exit points managing clients, visitors, and contractors. u2022 Makes periodic rounds of the building and documents any hazardous conditions or issues. u2022 Follows assigned procedures in emergency situations. u2022 Handles or assists in crises situations. u2022 Completes Incident Reports in electronic records system.Qualifications: u2022 Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems. u2022 High School Diploma or GED. u2022 Ability to sit, walk and stand for numerous hours. u2022 Has an understanding, appreciation, and commitment to the philosophy and mission of Project FIND. u2022 Establish and maintain polite, professional, and effective working relationships with all contacts. u2022 Patrols property on foot, securing personnel, assets, building, gates, and fence perimeter are secure in all-weather conditions. u2022 Good oral and written communication skills. u2022 Shows initiative and is responsible for follow through. u2022 Ability to work independently and as part of a team. u2022 Ability to maintain confidential information, as related to the position. u2022 Provides excellent customer service at all times. u2022 Basic level computer skills; Microsoft Word and Excel. u2022 Demonstrated flexibility with the ability to change priorities with limited notice including working overtime and being available to work with little notice. u2022 Ability to lift packages and other items up to 10 pounds.Full-time Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday:4pm-12amPlease note this position requires the availability and flexibility to occasionally work some weekends and holidays.Project FIND participates in E-Verify, which confirms employment authorization through an electronic database maintained by the Social Security Administration and Department of Homeland Security. The E-Verify process is completed in conjunction with the Form I-9 Employment Eligibility Verification.
