Description The Senior Accountant shall be responsible for overseeing financial accounting and budgeting transactions. It will also be responsible for all aspects of financial reporting, including costs, margins, productivity, and expenses. This role is expected to monitor and enforce compliance with the companyu2019s overall accounting policies and procedures. It will serve as a key contact within the finance organization for executive management, subsidiary management, and key functional leaders. It will have a key role in cashflow management, bank reporting and revenue processes. It shall support the Companiesu2019 leadership in HR management. It will support the VP of Finance in setting the tone for robust internal control development and implementation. Experience in working in a closely held business is a plus. Key Duties and Responsibilities Financial u25cf Actively participate in the monthly closing, ensuring that revenue is recorded according to company policy, intercompany accounts are reconciled, and that consolidation and elimination entries are properly recorded. u25cf Coordinate the monthly reporting package for the consolidated group and subsidiaries, ensuring that reports are accurate and contain the requested key data needed to assist senior management in driving successful results. u25cf Oversee the companiesu2019 revenue function by tracking all active contracts and ensuring that company commitments are met and that all billable costs are tracked and recorded. u25cf Oversee the timely collection of accounts receivable. u25cf Collect the necessary data to support annual tax return preparation. u25cf Maintain sales and margin reporting, including a monthly forecast. u25cf Prepare weekly cashflow reports and execute authorized transactions to ensure that events are executed flawlessly. u25cf Maintain a strong process over internal credit card use. Maintain the T& E policy and ensure that all billable expenses are charged to clients as outlined in the event contracts. u25cf Develop a strong process to ensure that all business licenses, taxation reports contract compliance requirements are met in a timely manner. u25cf Provide strong, forward looking analytical reports as needed. u25cf Coordinate data to support the annual budgeting process. Key Qualifications/Skills u25cf Accounting/Finance degree, CPA a plus u25cf 3 to 7 years of relevant experience u25cf Strong organization skills with the ability to establish and meet appropriate deadlines u25cf Strong written and oral skills, a sound communicator who can work well with non-financial team members u25cf A strong attention to detail will help to make a candidate successful in this role u25cf Strong critical thinking abilities u25cf Must be self-directed with the ability to work well under pressure and plan personal workload effectively u25cf Expert Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office product skills u25cf Expert skills in QuickBooks Online; ability to create needed reports and establish recurring models to support requested analytics and closing efficiencies Interested parties should contact Frank Corrigan to learn more.
