We are looking for a dedicated Senior Manager Innovation and Architecture like you to be a part of our team. Job Summary and Qualifications Position Summary The Senior Manager of Innovation and Architecture will lead an organization of Domain Architects and oversee their cross-functional teams organized in POD structures. This position is responsible for guiding the Domain Architecture team in defining, maintaining, and evolving the architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps that enable scalable, secure, and resilient solutions. In partnership with the Manager of Product Innovation, this role jointly oversees cross-functional POD teams, ensuring architectural integrity and governance through processes like the Architecture Review Board (ARB). This role is essential in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. It also plays a pivotal part in positioning Accelerated Technologies team as stakeholder-centric, committed to delivering value as a leading developer, tenacious accelerator, and trusted partner dedicated to the care and improvement of human life. Major Responsibilities: Architectural Leadership and Team Management: u2022 Provides leadership and direction to a team of Domain Architects, ensuring clear goals and fostering a collaborative and creative working environment. u2022 Ensures Domain Architects effectively define, maintain, and evolve architectural principles, standards, and roadmaps. u2022 Serves as primary point of contact and escalation for architectural issues with other ITG areas and HCA business units. u2022 Coaches, mentors, and develops team members, defining individual career development plans and providing growth opportunities. Architectural Governance and ARB Oversight: u2022 Participates in and oversees the Architecture Review Board (ARB) process to ensure operational efficiency and effective governance. Partners with Architecture team leadership to ensure the ARB effectively vets all new solutions against established departmental, enterprise technology, and architectural parameters. u2022 Ensures architectural governance processes are consistently followed and adhere to the department's requirements. Innovation Pod Leadership: u2022 In partnership with the Manager of Product Innovation, oversees cross-functional domain POD teams to ensure seamless execution of projects. Collaborates with the Architecture team to ensure their work effectively supports product innovation, providing a structured yet adaptable architectural foundation. u2022 Fosters a collaborative and inclusive environment, promoting open communication and knowledge-sharing among team members from diverse backgrounds. Strategic Technology Alignment and Innovation: u2022 Provides strategic direction and resources for the Innovation and Architecture team to explore, vet, and integrate new technologies for enterprise adoption. u2022 Collaborates with technology experts to identify opportunities for integrating innovative solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies. u2022 Ensures that proposed innovations and architectural efforts align with the company's long-term business goals, customer needs, and market trends. u2022 Fosters an environment that encourages experimentation and piloting of new technologies to deliver breakthrough solutions. Stakeholder Partnership and Communication: u2022 Develops and maintains strong relationships with internal and external partners, from staff level to the executive suite, to build trust and drive consensus. u2022 Establishes clear communication channels to keep all stakeholders informed about architectural strategy, standards, and initiative progress. u2022 Provides regular updates on progress, milestones achieved, and any challenges encountered to ensure transparency and alignment. People and Program Leadership: u2022 Performs personnel actions including hiring, assignment, reviews, and recruitment. u2022 Develops leaders who can create an environment that maximizes speed of delivery, optimizes costs, and grows talent. u2022 Enforces accountability within staff and utilize department metrics to measure success and stakeholder satisfaction. Idea Generation and Evaluation: u2022 Fosters a systematic process for generating, capturing, and evaluating innovative ideas from business lines and other ITG teams. Establishes frameworks for assessing the feasibility and potential impact of ideas, guiding them through various stages of conception to development. Innovation Strategy: u2022 Supports the development of Innovation and Architecture strategy aligned with company needs and goals. Identifies opportunities for growth and differentiation, working closely with crossu2013functional teams to execute these strategies effectively Delegation and Empowerment: u2022 Delegates responsibilities within the POD structure teams to empower team members to take ownership of specific tasks and initiatives.
