Additionally, they have strong business aptitude and can strategize the entire food and beverage vision and process, down to following through on all hiring, training, supervising, planning, budgeting, and execution.Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.Our team has made a conscious effort to ensure strong protocols are in place to keep you and our patrons safe, so you can focus on the customer experience, camaraderie, and dining room management.For more information on our open opportunities, apply todayResponsibilitiesDaily management of the food and beverage departmentAssumes 100% responsibility for quality of products servedDirect and assist with set-up, preparation and execution of banquets, parties, and special eventsWork closely with the Troon' Marketing Team Members to develop and implement creative strategies to increase revenuesAssist the General Manager in hiring, supervising, scheduling, and developing bartenders, cooks, and beverage cart attendantsProvide daily oversight of F&B accounting proceduresMaintain cost controls and conduct monthly inventoryFollow the PO buying process for food and beverage orderingTrain front line staff on quality assurance and appropriate guest servicePerform daily walk-throughs to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulationsComply with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state lawsFollow correct closing procedures and appropriate cash handling practicesPrepares food and tends bar as neededEnsures that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the kitchen and bar at all timesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Education and Experience RequirementsMust have 1-2 years of supervisory experienceMust have strong sales orientationMust be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointKnowledge of pertinent health regulations and liquor lawsMust have food and beverage/ a la carte and banquet experienceMust have strong business aptitudeMust have strong service orientationMust possess excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be highly organized, efficient, and detail-orientedMust have exceptional interpersonal skillsWorking ConditionsPhysical activity including long periods (6-8 hours) of standing, walking, bending, and scoopingThe employee will be required regularly to reach with arms and handsThe employee occasionally will be required to lift up to 50lbs.Use of sight, reading, wrist movement to serve meals and beverages, operate food service equipment and clean food service areasSpecific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, and depth perceptionNoise level is typically moderateWork extended hours during golf and holiday seasonWork weekends and holidays About Troon Troon started as one facility in 1990 and has since grown to become the world's largest professional club management company.
