JOB REQUIREMENTS: STAFFING CONSULTANT FINDING PEOPLE FOR JOBS, AND JOBSFOR PEOPLE. As a Staffing Consultant, you will find, interview, andqualify job seekers for temporary/contract roles with companies andorganizations in your local market. This is a full-cycle recruitingrole. From sourcing to placement, you will run the entire recruitingprocess. You will spend your time engaging in conversations with jobseekers, whether it be over the phone, via email, or in-person. You willbuild strong relationships with job seekers by coaching them throughoutevery step of the job search process - from resume editing tips &tricks, to interview pointers, all the way through post-interviewbreakdown and accepting a new position. In the time not spent findingthe next great candidate for the job, you will be meeting with your teamto discuss open positions, posting advertisements for open jobs, andlearning to utilize online sourcing tools and resources. To be asuccessful Staffing Consultant, you must be resourceful, have strongpersonal initiative, and be a fantastic judge of character. It will beup to your individual discretion to determine the right job fit based onthe job seekers capabilities and business character. Beacon Hill willrely on you not just to find good candidates, but to select them fromamong the many individuals who will be vying to become Beacon Hillcandidates, and then to match them with the right companies, jobs, andwork environments. You will not just be reading resumes. You must lookbeyond that and read people. This is a relationship focused salesposition; the harder you work, the more results you will see. Every dayyou'll come in ready to hold yourself accountable to your goals andbuild your book of business. YOUR DAY: 1 Identify prospectivecandidates - via job board search tools, LinkedIn, internet searches,referrals, professional networking 2 Post jobs on job boards 3 Proactivecold calling to identify prospective candidates. Although this can bechallenging, setting the foundation early by reaching out to as manycandidates as possible is critical to your success. 4 Interviewprospective candidates 5 Prep candidates for interviews with clientcompanies - review resumes, discuss client needs, conduct mockinterviews 6 Contact candidates post-interview - recap interview,provide next steps 7 Deliver the good news - extend job offers andmanage the offer process for candidates 8 Reach out to candidates whoare on assignment - make sure they have everything they need YOU'LLNEED: Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Thecore of your day is going to be spent communicating - as such, thebetter you can demonstrate your ability to listen, understand, explainyour position, and work with other people (from those you spend timewith internally on your team, to those you've just met), the better.
