Manager Marketing and Brand Strategy Location Madison Job Category Apply Now ( Job Purpose This position is responsible for driving the companyu2019s marketing and brand strategy to elevate market presence, deepen customer engagement, and support business growth. The Manager oversees integrated marketing initiativesu2014including product marketing and brand positioningu2014while leading a high-performing team. This role blends strategic and creative thinking with hands-on, data-driven execution across multimedia and stakeholder channels to build a compelling and consistent brand experience. Team Leadership and Talent Development u2022 Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals; provide coaching, feedback, and performance development. u2022 Ensure marketing team understands brand positioning; key messages; marketing strategies, tools and channels; and customer programs. u2022 Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and results-driven team culture aligned with company values. u2022 Ensure cross-functional alignment across marketing, communications, and business units. Marketing Strategy and Brand Leadership u2022 Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with business goals, customer needs, and market opportunities. u2022 Lead marketing efforts for high-visibility projects, program and product launches, and strategic campaigns. u2022 Lead brand positioning efforts to clearly articulate the companyu2019s value proposition, differentiators, and strategic vision. u2022 Oversee the development and management of marketing deliverables from lead generation to post-customer enrollment, ensuring consistent messaging and brand positioning. u2022 Oversee planning calendar, advertising and market development efforts. u2022 Monitor market trends, customer insights, and competitive activity to inform strategy, and drive innovation and business growth. u2022 Define and track strategic KPIs for marketing campaigns, leveraging performance analytics and ROI insights to drive continuous optimization. Deliver actionable data insights to leadership, enabling informed decision-making and alignment with broader business objectives. u2022 Manage budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure efficient execution of marketing campaigns and to achieve performance targets. Strategic Storytelling & Campaign Innovation u2022 Lead the creation of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, video, and social platforms. u2022 Oversee development of high-impact content including product customer-focused collateral and brand storytelling. u2022 Manage editorial or campaign calendars and ensure timely execution of marketing deliverables. u2022 Deliver a customer-focused approach to development of messaging and assets. u2022 Bring a creative mindset and proven ability to develop fresh, innovative ideas to marketing strategy and execution. u2022 Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to lead the development and implementation of brand-building communications and strategies and market plans for programs, products and services. u2022 Collaborate with creative team to manage advertising assets and to ensure consistency of brand across campaigns. Education u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; Masteru2019s degree preferred. Experience u2022 8u201310 years of progressive experience in brand strategy, product marketing, and integrated campaign development. u2022 Experience in a regulated industry or publicly traded company a plus. Job Location The position hybrid and office days are located in downtown Madison, Wisconsin, where MGE is an active participant in community efforts to preserve the area's extraordinary quality of life.
