About the Job The Brightly Software Legal department is a global teamlocated all over the world, with its headquarters in the US. Brightly Softwareis continuing to expand into new vertical markets, expand its global presenceand quickly grow in the complex landscape of cloud services. As Legal Counsel, youu2019ll be a key member of our global legalteam, balancing routine transactions with complex legal challenges. Youu2019ll helpalign legal support with business goals, all while working in a fast-paced,collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is a strategic and adaptableprofessional who can handle a large volume of complex agreements while alsodriving the digitalization and automation of legal processes to improveefficiency. What you will do Agreement Management + Leadthe review, drafting, and execution of a high volume of agreementsu2014rangingfrom routine to complexu2014ensuring compliance and deliveringcustomer-focused solutions. + Serveas the primary legal contact for unique or non-standard transactions,including new business models and acquisitions. Process Improvement & Innovation + Identifyand implement opportunities to streamline legal operations through digitaltools and automation. + Driveor support global initiatives to improve legal workflows and increaseefficiency. Global Collaboration + Supportglobal legal operations by working with international teams and serving asa key contact for legal matters across regions and time zones. + Ensureseamless communication and coordination between legal and business teamsacross different regions. Internal Team and Cross-Functional Collaboration: + Collaboratewith senior executives and cross-functional teams within the organization,providing legal insights to support business objectives. + Act asa key legal advisor on strategic initiatives and projects. What you need + 8-10years of experience in transactional law, with a focus on software andcloud services. + Licensedattorney (JD, LL.M., or equivalent) with admission to practice in relevantjurisdiction. + Provensuccess managing complex, global cloud services agreements. + Strongclient focus and ability to work across diverse industries and cultures. + Experiencewith public sector contracting and regulatory frameworks, especially inNorth America. + Collaborativemindset and commitment to team communication and support. + Fluentin English. What makes you a Standout + Experiencewith contract lifecycle management systems and AI-driven legal tools. + Deepunderstanding of multiple regulated industries (healthcare, government,education) and a proven ability to adapt legal strategies for differentvertical markets. + Backgroundworking with U.S.-based software or tech companies in internationalenvironments.
