Machine Operator (2nd Shift)

achine Operator (2nd Shift) Mon-Fri: 3:30pm-11:00pm Pay: $18/hr. + (Based on experience) Key Responsibilities: Interpret print dimensions and bills of material for machine set-up information. Set NC control settings and or mechanical settings for appropriate part dimensions and or cutting conditions. Select and load punches and dies in machine if appropriate. Load material into machine by hand or by hoist. Cycle machine and verify dimensions of work piece produced. Unload parts from machine. Skills Required: Machine operation skills, math skills, reading and comprehension skills and ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. **Must know how to read a tape measure and do decimals. ** Qualities Required: Good work ethic and attendance. Good work history. Experience Required: Machine operation experience. Equipment Used: Machines and tools Education Requirements: HS diploma or GED or 1-3 months related experience or training Physical Requirements: Standing, walking, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
