Camp Medical StaffEagles Nest Camp, Pisgah Forest, North Carolina SeasonalAre you an experienced medical professional looking for a change of pace for the summer? If so, we hope youll apply to join our team at Eagles Nest for the summer of 2026! Who We Are: Eagles Nest Camp is non-profit, overnight camp located on 200 acres of wooded land in the lush mountains of Western North Carolina, just southwest of Asheville and down the road from Pisgah National Forest and Dupont State Forest. Since 1927, weve provided a joyful, inclusive community where campers ages 6 to 18 are treated with respect, compassion, and care. Campers have the opportunity to participate in 1 to 3-week long sessions that emphasize community living while choosing to take classes in visual and performing arts, athletics, appreciation of nature, outdoor adventure, horseback riding, and more. Our population is diverse and smaller in size than most camps, which allows our campers and staff to feel seen, heard, and valued no matter how long they attend camp!Responsibilities: Our Health Hut medical staff are responsible for providing daily care and First-Aid to approximately 140 campers and 60 staff. While on duty, our medical team members are available and able to serve our camp community with the support of our administration and full-time camp staff. Daily responsibilities will include:Administering care and First-Aid to injured/ill campersAdministering medication and preparing medications for any overnight or off-campus tripsUpdating medical logs as necessary on our CampDoc online platformCommunicating with parents and physiciansBeing available to serve whenever a need arises.Required Qualifications: At least 21 years old, CPR and any related medical licence (RN, PA, MD, etc.), if licensed outside of NC must be able to practice in NC, clean driving recordBenefits: Competitive salary and one full day off each week, plus nights off and lunches out.
