Patient Care Representative

Sentara Medical Group is seeking to hire an individual to join our team as a Patient Care Representative for Southern Virginia Orthopedics.Position Location: South Boston, VAPosition Status: Full-time, DaysStandard Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (EST)OverviewResponsible for registration process of new and current patients at the site. Completes check-in and check-out functions to include collection of co-pays, scheduling of appointments, and requests for medical records. Answers telephone calls and greets all patients and visitors with a smile.Must have ability to communicate with insurance carriers and discharge planners in a professional manner. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$16.35 - $23.08. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
