IDEAL Pediatric Hospitalist-Newborn Nursery OPPORTUNITY!Belmont (Charlotte Metro Region), North CarolinaWe have an excellent opportunity for an experienced full-time Pediatrician, to play a leadership role in a brand new, 10 bed LDRP Level-I Nursery, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont which is scheduled to open beginningof 2025About the PracticeThis Level 1 unit will have an anticipated 600 deliveries a yearAn average daily census of about 5 newbornsPediatric Hospitalist will be responsible for daily rounds on newborns, attending deliveries when requested and will take call from homePractitioners would also stabilize, manage and facilitate transport of newborns to adjacent NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia for newborns needing higher level care°The Belmont team will consist of 4 NNPs/Pediatric Hospitlaist with the sister LEVEL III NICU staffed by 2 neonatologists and 5-6 NNPs who provide care at CaroMont Regional Medical Center- Gastonia, which is only 7 miles away.Hospital InformationBelmont Medical Center, is located just 15miles from uptown Charlotte and 8miles from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, which has non-stop flights to over 180 destinationsCaroMont Health has been recognized with numerous awards, including being named one of Thomson Reuters’ Top 100 HospitalAbout BelmontWith its close proximity to Charlotte, Belmont allows visitors to take advantage of big-city amenities while enjoying a comfortable stay in a place with small-city charm.
