Deepwater Mechanic

The position of Deepwater Mechanic entailsoperatingan offshore production facility according to customer specifications, conducting testing, calibration, maintenance, and inspections of equipment, and completing mandatory paperwork for both customers and governmental agencies. Additionally, responsibilities include troubleshooting andmaintainingvarious equipment such as turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, and reciprocating equipment like pumps and compressors.Operate offshore production facilityin accordance withcustomer requirementsTest, calibrate,maintainand inspect equipmentPerform mandatory paperwork required by customer and government agenciesMaintain and troubleshoot, turbine compressors, generators, gas/diesel generators, compressors, reciprocating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.)High School Diploma or equivalent3-8 years of mechanic experience working offshore on a production platform.Turbine, pump, compressor and generator experience.SAP experience preferred.Offshore experience preferred.Computer knowledgeShould be familiar with Subsea equipmentOrganization skills tomaintainplatformExcellent interpersonal communications skills in a team environmentCreating policies and procedures for maintenance, testing, and inspections of offshore lifeboatsNeeds to have technical mechanical skills and be able to create policies andprocedures.Candidate will notbe requiredto complete technical writing tasksReal ID driver's license or current U.S. passport required.
