Whether it's a birthday party, corporate event, or just a night out with friends, Drive Shack has everything you need to make your outing truly unforgettable.Job PurposeThe role of a Porter is to keep the venue clean and organized for our guests.In addition, all staff is expected to create and maintain an inviting atmosphere for our guests. This atmosphere is created through positivity, support, a shared knowledge, and effective communication.ResponsibilitiesThe major responsibilities for this position will center on these key areas:Complete all housekeeping tasks directed by the Facility Manager and SupervisorClean, repair, and conduct general maintenance on the interior and exterior of the venue,including but not limited to floors, storage areas, restrooms, etc.Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with the proper supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.)Maintain a proper inventory and par level of maintenance supplies and equipmentUnderstand the proper condition of the Drive Shack venue and work diligently to maintain itBe responsive to all guest requests and concerns relating to cleanliness and safetyMaintain safety, health, and environmental policies and proceduresPerform other duties as requested by managementQualifications and SkillsPrevious experience in a custodial role preferredAbility to work in fast paced environment and have a good level of stamina and mobilityWork schedule varies and will include working on days, nights, holidays, and weekends and requires standing and/or walking for extended periods both indoors and outdoorsFamiliarity with safety & sanitation, along with industry best practices.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for hours at a time, including maneuvering up and down stairsMust be able to lift to 50 pounds at-a-time without assistanceDrive Shack is committed to equal opportunity in the workplace, preventing discrimination and harassment, including sexual misconduct, based on legally protected diversity characteristics (such as race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, family status, citizenship, genetic information and veteran status) in its application and hiring processes and in its employment decisions.
