We are committed to building a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees.This is an office-based position.Payroll Operations & ComplianceManage end-to-end payroll cycles for 800+ employees across the US, UK, and Canada, including semi-monthly and monthly payrolls, supplemental commission and bonus payments, and time and labor administration. Ensure accuracy and compliance by reviewing payroll and personnel master file changes, balancing hours and additional costs, auditing exception reports, and reconciling payroll-related tax accounts across multiple jurisdictions.Handle advanced payroll scenarios involving multi-state taxation, country-specific requirements, retroactive adjustments, and garnishments.Stay current on payroll legislation, tax changes, and labor laws in the US, UK, and Canada; proactively adapt processes and policies to remain compliant.Reporting & AuditPrepare, file, and distribute statutory reporting and year-end tax forms (e.g., W-2s, 1099s, T4s, P60s) in compliance with IRS, CRA, and HMRC requirements.Prepare, balance, and post payroll-related general ledger entries. Prepare and deliver accurate payroll reporting to global stakeholdersSystems & Process ImprovementsPartner with HR, Finance, Compensation, Technical teams, and external payroll vendors globally to recommend system changes and implement process improvements, and lead payroll-related projects while ensuring compliance with international requirements. Maintain the integrity and accuracy of payroll and compensation data across HRIS and payroll platforms, resolving data integration, cross-system, and reporting issues as needed.Leadership & ExpertiseServe as the escalation point for complex payroll inquiries, providing timely and professional support to employees while conducting root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions.Lead payroll-related projects, audits, and cross-functional initiatives to strengthen compliance and efficiency across the organization.Mentor team, sharing expertise and contributing to the development of payroll best practices and internal controls.6+ Years proven experience processing payroll in multiple countries, preferably including the US, UK, and Canada.Strong understanding of wage and hour laws, multi-jurisdictional payroll, tax, and compliance requirementsExtensive knowledge of the payroll function including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxesWorking knowledge of HRIS reporting including data extraction, analysis, and report buildingAdvanced Proficiency in excel - advanced formulas and functions, demonstrated auditing skills and accuracy in data management through reporting and reconciliationsAbility to maintain highly confidential informationExperience with UKG Pro desirableBachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related fieldWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, opportunities for career growth, an employee stock purchase plan, 401(k), generous time off and flexible work/life balance, company-matched retirement packages, an employee wellness program, and an awards and recognition program - all in a creative, fast-growing, and innovative company.
