Pharmacy Technician - Dublin, GA

CVP is seeking Pharmacy Technicians to join our team providing pharmacy support services for the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Meds by Mail program in Dublin, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to serve our Nation's Veterans in a vital healthcare support role. As a Pharmacy Technician with the Meds by Mail program, you will work under the supervision of licensed pharmacists to help process, prepare, and distribute medications to Veterans across the country. This position plays a critical role in ensuring Veterans receive timely, accurate medication deliveries through the VA's mail order pharmacy program.Process prescription orders in the VA pharmacy system Prepare and package medications for mail delivery Maintain accurate patient records in electronic systems Verify patient information and prescription details Assist in inventory management and stock rotation Follow all safety protocols and quality assurance procedures Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Communicate effectively with pharmacy staff and supervisors Respond to basic inquiries from Veterans regarding prescription status Perform other duties as assigned in support of pharmacy operationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentPharmacy Technician certification (PTCB or ExCPT) or ability to obtain certification within 6 monthsPrevious experience as a pharmacy technician preferredExperience with electronic prescription processing systemsStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational skillsEffective written and verbal communication abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentBasic computer proficiencyKnowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medicationsMust be a U.S. citizen able to obtain and maintain a government security clearanceMust pass pre-employment background check and drug screeningMust comply with all VA and facility policies and proceduresWork Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week with various shifts available, Monday through FridayLocation: Dublin VA Meds by Mail Facility: 2103 Veterans Blvd #2, Dublin, GA 31021About CVPCVP is an award-winning healthcare and next-gen technology and consulting services firm solving critical problems for healthcare, national security, and public sector clients.
