We're seeking a skilled Assembler to join our team and contribute to the production of high-quality printing products. In this role, you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, from assembling intricate components to performing thorough quality inspections.What You'll Do:Assemble mechanical printing products, including print heads and sub-assemblies, following specifications and instructions.Conduct comprehensive quality inspections, checking band quality, print quality, and physical appearance of assemblies.Verify band sheet accuracy, proper component placement, and fit of mating parts.Perform physical and functional inspections of print heads, identifying defects and missing parts.Process quality rejects, returning them for repair and re-submitting after correction.Verify paperwork, production notices, and packing instructions, cross-checking counts and other information.Operate specialized machinery including energy cell, brake wheel, hot stamp, and pad printing machines.Manage stock movement to and from your work area.Maintain accurate records and reports of all work performed.Meet or exceed all department standards and efficiency targets.Collaborate as a member of a production support team, providing training, assistance, and support to achieve department goals.Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts, identifying ways to enhance product/process quality, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.Engage in ELS training and Kaizen events as appropriate.Participate in 5S activities within the department and assist other areas as needed.Support other job functions or company processes as business needs require and within your scope of ability.Adhere to all general plant and job-specific safety and environmental requirements.
