Sr. Accountant

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Taylor, Texas. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial management and compliance within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting practices, particularly in the construction industry, and demonstrate exceptional analytical and organizational skills. Responsibilities: u2022 Lead the preparation and analysis of budgets to ensure effective financial planning. u2022 Monitor and track costs to maintain accurate records and identify potential savings. u2022 Generate comprehensive financial reports to support business decisions and compliance. u2022 Process invoices and manage accounts payable with precision and timeliness. u2022 Oversee contract administration to ensure adherence to terms and financial obligations. u2022 Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations. u2022 Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. u2022 Develop accurate financial forecasts to guide strategic decisions. u2022 Execute month-end close processes, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries. u2022 Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Requirements u2022 Bacheloru2019s degree in Accounting or a related field. u2022 Proven experience in accounting within the construction industry. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software and tools. u2022 Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting. u2022 Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. u2022 Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. u2022 Acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes. u2022 Knowledge of general ledger management and reconciliation procedures.
