Staff Accountant

Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Rancho Cucamonga, California. This is a long-term contract position within the aerospace industry, offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in accounting practices and a demonstrated ability to handle revenue-related reconciliations and reporting. Responsibilities: u2022 Manage accounts receivable processes, including revenue recognition and account reconciliations. u2022 Prepare and post manual journal entries with accuracy and attention to detail. u2022 Conduct intercompany activity reviews and ensure proper accrual entries are recorded. u2022 Perform reconciliations for 10-15 accounts related to revenue, ensuring compliance and accuracy. u2022 Generate financial reports, such as trial balance, profit and loss statements, and general ledger transaction activity. u2022 Assist in the month-end close process, including running reports and validating data. u2022 Support auditors by providing requested documentation, pulling data, and offering insights. u2022 Analyze costs and provide detailed reports to support decision-making processes. u2022 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless accounting operations and compliance with standards. Requirements u2022 Proven experience in accounts receivable and revenue recognition processes. u2022 Strong competency in account reconciliations and manual journal entries. u2022 Familiarity with financial reporting, including trial balances, P& L statements, and general ledger activity. u2022 Proficiency in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP, and Epicor. u2022 Ability to excel in a fast-paced manufacturing or aerospace environment. u2022 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in managing financial data. u2022 Experience with month-end close processes and intercompany transactions. u2022 Capability to support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and data.
