Microsoftu2019s Worldwide Manufacturing & Mobility Industry Team, part of the Industry and Partner Organization, is accountable for leveraging deep industry and technical expertise to enable sales teams and partners to deliver relevant, customized industry solutions and services, built on a secure, integrated cloud platform, to empower our customers to digitally transform their businesses by leveraging AI. The Industry Advisor - Mobility role, operating at a strategic level with Microsoftu2019s top automotive customers, requires deep engagement and understanding of the Automotive industry and its challenges. The ideal candidate is a subject matter specialist in the Automotive industry. The Industry Advisor will act as the industry leader in a customer centric account team and will strive to build relationships and become a trusted advisor to key business decision-makers, helping them digitally transform their business. The role of IA focuses on generating and owning industry relevant solutions and platform opportunities, working and selling closely with Microsoft and its partners. This industry sales role delivers growth of Microsoft Cloud Services by building new relationships, uncovering opportunities, shape solutions that deliver measurable impact using Microsoftu2019s cloud, AI, and data technologies. The role will partner closely with the world-wide industry sales teams and specialist sellers to share best practices and customer references/case studies to bring Microsoftu2019s industry digital transformation stories to life. Qualifications Required/minimum qualifications + Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 3+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience OR equivalent experience. + 6+ years experience in Connected Vehicle, Autonomy, Software Defined Vehicle + 8+ years experience in the automotive industry domain Additional or preferred qualifications + Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 5+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Health Sciences, Supply Chain, Education, Business or related field AND 7+ years customer-facing experience in operations, enterprise-level improvement program management, product management, transportation, hospitality, automotive, consumer goods, financial services, retail, management consulting, consultative selling, public sector, technology or industry-relevant equivalent management or technical work experience OR equivalent experience. + 3+ years proven people management and/or leadership experience. + 10+ years experience working in business roles at a company in the Automotive industryu200b + 10+ years experience in industry solution selling experienceu200b + Industry specific sales or consulting position within an IT Consulting companyu200b + Demonstrated success in business development, including identifying new opportunities and driving revenue growth. + Skilled in market development strategies to expand client base and penetrate new verticals. + Executive presence with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders. + Adept at cross-functional collaboration, with a track record of building productive relationships across internal teams, partners, and customers. Industry Advisory IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
