Project Manager

Description TEKsystems is looking for one trusted source for communication, physical security and life safety solutions to meet the needs of Healthcare, Education, Detention and Commercial customers. They utilize a consultative approach to conduct an in-depth needs analysis, enabling our customers to fulfill their mission critical processes. They are restructuring their access control vertical in the Nashville market and will oversee 5-10 access control technicians. This PM will be tasked with Plans, organize, directs, and controls project activities required for effective management of projects. Supervises installation labor and sub-contractors. Works with financial reports, contracts, management reports, and tools to define project problems to assure project profitability. Responsible for organizing training, developing employees, and ensuring quality installation. Key Duties and Responsibilities: u2022 Plans and schedules for engineering, installation, and subcontracting activities on large and/or complex systems or service-installed jobs. u2022 Maintains current job plans and specifications. u2022 Works with engineering department on design and drafting phases of jobs. u2022 Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and services, ensuring timely delivery to job sites. u2022 Prepares, manages, and executes the project installation plan. u2022 Reviews information to determine necessary changes in design, contract price, and installation plan. u2022 Implements agreed changes to project scope. u2022 Maintains construction schedule and coordinates task scheduling with other trades. u2022 Selects and monitors subcontractor performance. u2022 Communicates progress and status of projects with superiors, subordinates, and customers. u2022 Maintains all digital records related to jobs, including job status, material purchases, contacts, job changes, prints, submittals, quotes, assessments, packing lists, email correspondence, and control records. u2022 Reviews estimates or assists in estimating projects that the company is bidding. u2022 Assists in site surveys with sales/engineering to secure accurate estimations. u2022 Implements quality assurance programs to improve customer satisfaction. u2022 Presents a professional company image when speaking with customers at all levels. u2022 Build and maintain relationships with customer decision makers. u2022 Routinely walks job sites to ensure quality installation of company products and provides documented updates to customers. u2022 Ensures customer satisfaction throughout projects. u2022 Monitors job status and controls job costs. u2022 Provides labor and material requirement data daily, weekly, or monthly as required. u2022 Assists management with monthly resource allocation forecasting. u2022 Reviews of job financial reports to ensure proper job management and cost control. u2022 Prepare data for monthly job billings with the office manager. u2022 Oversees As-Builds. u2022 Ensures completion of all paperwork, purchase orders, and warranty letters. u2022 Ensure projects are turned over to service. u2022 Confirm jobs are 100% billed and revenue recognized. u2022 Completes job closeout reports. u2022 Provides customer contact information to the Training Specialist for scheduling. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
