Job DutiesEMPLOYER: Aurora Charter SchoolJOB TITLE: Health and Wellness Teacher (Multiple Openings)JOB LOCATION: 2103 E 26th St, Minneapolis, MN 55404 JOB DUTIES: Responsible for teaching Health Education classes to middle school students entirely in Spanish for dual-language program school. Specific duties include: (1) Developing and administering Health Education classes entirely in Spanish (including health and nutrition, biological functions, and mental wellbeing); (2) Teaching knowledge and understanding of physiology, health and nutrition, anatomy, and biological functions entirely in Spanish; (3) Maintaining records, grading, and reporting for student activities, achievement, and attendance; (4) Encouraging parental involvement in studentsu2019 education and ensuring effective communication with students and parents; (5) Collaborating with other staff members and participating in faculty meetings; (6) Participating in student and parent activities, including curriculum nights, parent/teacher conferences, and school events. REQUIREMENTS: Bacheloru2019s (any); Minnesota teaching license; Spanish language proficiency; successful completion of criminal background check. ANNUAL SALARY: $59,407-$75,000.
