The position of Manager Commercial Lendingis responsible for management of the commercial lending pipeline and allpipeline related activities including managing staff responsible forthose activities. This position acts as product owner for commercialproducts. SALARY: Hiring Range for this position is from $85,275 to$106,404 Annually. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Toperform this job successfully, an individual must be able to performeach essential duty satisfactorily. Manages commercial lendingactivities, which includes planning, coordinating, administering ofcommercial lending pipeline and all pipeline related activities, andevaluating products, processes, procedures, systems, standards, and/orservice offerings; ensures compliance with Federal, State, and locallaws, regulations, codes, and/or standards. Manages a team ofprofessional staff, ensuring adequate training and opportunity,prioritization of tasks, monitoring individual performance and providingfeedback to staff. Serves as product owner for various commercialproducts which includes coordinating applications, as needed,implementation of product and longer-term oversight of success. Respondsto requests for information and provides subject-matter-expert guidanceto other departments, customers, general public and/or outside agencies.Serves on a variety of internal and external committees, task forces,and other Authority committees to secure advocacy and influence supportfor programs and ideals. Acts as key liaison, along with underwriters,for potential borrowers. Ensures high quality, error free and timelydecision and discussion papers to loan committees and Members of theBoard related to areas of responsibility. Provides assistance todepartment director; develops and interprets complex reports andanalysis, including analysis of potential new or revised products.Develops communication, guidance, and training for internal and externalpartners. This may include public speaking. Performs or assists withother duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in closelyrelated field AND 5 years of progressively responsible experiencerelated to commercial or multifamily lending, including 2 years ofsupervisory experience OR equivalent combination of education andexperience. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Advanced knowledge of multifamily andeconomic development lending, guarantees and housing tax creditprinciples and practices Advanced knowledge of underwriting principles,practices, and procedures Business development principles and processesN gotiation methods Proven coaching and mentoring skills Managerial andsupervisorial principles Product and program development andimplementation principles Advanced knowledge of state and federalaffordable housing programs and associated laws, regulations, codes,standards, and compliance requirements Financial principles andpractices Strong adherence to confidentiality in working with clientsand vendors Attention to detail, and ability to troubleshoot for processimprovement Excellent verbal and written communication skills Problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure Successfulprioritizing and management of work projects Remote Work Options: Thisposition has a work schedule that will initially be 100% in-office.After training is complete, it is at the discretion of the directmanager when the employee may begin a hybrid work schedule.
