You'll start your training at one ofour Madison restaurants, spending about 10 weeks learning generaloperations and about 13 weeks learning management skills. Quick ServiceRestaurant, or fast casual dining, experience is a plus. Must be Food Manager(ServSafe or Learn2Serve) Certified OR able to complete thecertification in the first 6 months of employment. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs. Touse ovens, pizza cutters, and other equipment of the business. Reliabletransportation to and from the restaurant locations for a variety ofshift times. English proficiency is required. Bilingual in Spanish is amajor plus Schedule Assistant General Managers are salaried for 40hours a week. Any time worked over 40 hours is considered overtime andis paid as such. Each week, you will spend about 20-30 hours inoperations/on-shift and about 15-20 hours on administration, projects,and meetings. Your operational work and meeting schedules are posted 2-4weeks in advance. Our restaurants are most busy on evenings andweekends, so availability for these shifts is required. As a leader inthe restaurant, you will work with the leadership team to be availablefor emergencies and help find coverage or cover shifts as needed.
