Biologics Assistant (Manufacturing) - $16.50

Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution (as needed) duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.Position Schedule: This is a full-time position that will work 8:00 PM - 6:30 AM Monday - Thursday. Schedule flexibility is required.Training Schedule: Candidate must be available to attend training Monday through Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm for a period of 3-4 weeks(Based upon when hours are worked positions may include a shift and weekend differential of $1.50 - $4.50 per hour.)The list of essential functions, as outlined herein, is intended to be representative of the duties and responsibilities performed within this classification. Tasks may involve some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances. Performance of this job could expose the employee to blood-borne pathogens and freezers at below-freezing temperatures (-30F/-35C). The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
