A detailed job description and an 'About Us' section can be found below.We look forward to hearing from you!!Job Purpose:Maintain all mechanical equipment within the plant and ensure proper running conditions including all safety devices are in proper working order; utilize skills to troubleshoot and repair all equipment including:hydraulic unitspneumatics equipmentsteam lines and componentsMust have a Journeyman's card.Must work 12 hour nightshift and a 3/2 schedule.Essential Functions:Evaluate opportunities to improve equipment performance and reduce downtimeProvide technical support for all mechanical process equipmentPerform moderate to complex installation, troubleshooting, and repairsDiagnose and repair equipment and components such as pumps, gear boxes, drive units, conveyors, and other mechanical devicesResponsible for the integrity and maintenance of plant mechanical equipmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervision but also with others in a team environmentPerform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipmentProvide technical training to all MechanicsAbility to fabricate parts and guarding for production equipment while utilizing welders, propane torches, brakes, drills, and other equipment as neededParticipates in planning and implementing new projects by working with and communicatingall progress on upgrades, new installations, and changes to the equipment to appropriate personnelMaintains appropriate documentation for process by ensuring that written manufacturing instructions exists for all processesQualifications:Must possess Journeyman card and/or minimum of 6 years' experience within the industrial maintenance fieldSkills/Abilities:Strong technical background and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skillsCandidates must be a US Person, defined as an individual that is a:Citizen of the United States, orPermanent resident alien of the United States, orProtected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) as defined by 22CFR120.15This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)Must adhere to the Morgan Technology Transfer Control Plan, government regulations, and company proceduresHaving access to CUI (controlled unclassified information)Morgan Advanced Materials is an EEO/AA/M/W/D/V EmployerInd
