Production Manager

Marvin Roanoke is looking for a Production Manager to join the team. The Production Manager is responsible for successfully providing leadership and direction to the Production Departments to support Marvin Windows and Doors corporate objectives. This will be accomplished by successfully partnering with the management team. The Production Manager ensures proper application of policy, maintenance of discipline, meeting schedules and accomplishing key metrics through direction of subordinate leaders. Provide direction and leadership for supervisors and employees within the production departments.Work with all supporting functional areas coordinating and supporting cross functional activities as required. Appropriately challenge ideas and/or programs that may be preventing accomplishment of goals.Evaluate production performance and work with Supervisors to give direction as needed for improvementMonitor production results and resolve issues to ensure goals are metDrive production improvementResponsible for creating positive employee relations and promoting employee engagement as measured by the Employee Engagement SurveyWork with other facilities to manage laborReview and Write annual performance evaluationsParticipate in interviews, select, coach and develop supervision so they can be productive and as successful as possible. Meets and Maintains Safety measures (OSHA incident rate)Manages productivity to ensure man hour goals are metPartners with Quality to meet goalsManage and submit budgeting for manufacturing departmentsEnsures reviews are on time and reduce turnoverBachelor's degree from a four-year college/university in a related field preferred- if a four degree has not been obtained at the time of initial assignment to this position- A minimum of 5 years manufacturing leadership experience.Strong communication and people/social skillsExperience managing people, processes and systems in a made-to- order environment.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong ability to use Microsoft OfficeFrom people to products, Marvin is committed to creating better ways of living.
