Position - Behavioral Health Associate Overnight Weekend ManagerThis position serves in a residential treatment center for adults with substance use disorders and other mental health disorders. The position works closely with the therapist and medical teams to ensure clients have a safe, empathetic, and trauma-informed environment that fosters healing and long-term change.About Turning Point CentersTurning Point Centers is a dually licensed, nationally accredited, local leader in Substance Abuse and Mental Health treatment since 2007 with treatment locations throughout Salt Lake County and Davis County. More can be found about our methods and company at www.turningpointcenters.comCompetitive Pay and Benefits include:401(k)401(k) matchingMedical, vison, and dental insurance Prescription drug planFlexible spending accountsHealth savings accountsVoluntary short-term and long-term disability coverageEmployee assistance programs, financial support, tuition reimbursement, and much moreSalary: $25-27 per hourLocation: Float, Sandy UT and Millcreek UT**Friday-Sunday, 8pm to 8am**36 hours weekly, full time with benefitsThe following job description is not inclusive of all job responsibilities:Work directly with the Director of Operations and HR Director to hire, interview and onboard new support staffOversee the Support Staff schedule to ensure all shifts are coveredWork directly with the Director of Operations to train and orient new support staffWork directly with the Director of Operations to ensure continuous training and compliance fore support staffSupervise and support the clients while maintaining professional boundaries on and off site during your shiftUnderstand and abide by medication management policies and proceduresComplete chores and other tasks listed on the daily task listActively participate in handoff communication at the beginning and end of your shiftUnderstand all emergency procedures and processesConduct room searches during each shiftConduct client intakes (if necessary)Orient new clients of schedule and house policies and procedures (if needed)Conduct UA’s and/or breathalyzers as directed by counselors and/or Program DirectorDocument incidents and events according to policy and procedureSign and abide by the Code of Conduct provided by the Department of Human ServicesQualifications:High school diploma / GEDMust be 21 years old or olderActive/valid driver’s license without DUI’s or serious moving violations within last 3 yearsMust be able to pass a federal background check through the Department of Human Services (Violent/Sexual/Predatory charges and/or convictions will result in denial of background check)Preferred: Minimum 1 year working in treatment setting1 year + experience working with the public in a customer-service related position1 year+ experience managing small teams1 year+ in addiction or mental health supportTURNPT
