With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, National Beef could become your next career move!Competitive wages and benefits:Competitive wagesCompany Paid Life, Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability Insurances401k after 1 year with 100% match up to 4% of contributionMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance effective 1st day of month following first full month of employment with option to select High deductible policy with flex spend or HSAPaid vacation, sick time and holidaysIndustrial Nurse responsibilities include but are not limited to:This position is responsible for providing first aid and emergency care for occupational injuries and illness, performing required pre-employment physicals and drug screens and record-keepingand documentation of visits to health services.Essential Functions:Provides first aid and medical treatment as needed and provides initial assessment of on-the-job injuries and illnesses and refers for further evaluation as necessaryReview of pre-employment physicals, including fitness for duty examinations, workers' compensation checks and drug screensMaintains employee health records and prepares accident reportsConducts accident investigations to determine the cause of common injuries and illnessesCommunicate safety concerns to appropriate managersProvides case management of all workers' compensation cases and follow-up through return to work, restricted duty, and transitional work to regular dutyMaintains first-aid kits and orders medical supplies as neededMaintains and safeguards the confidentiality of employee health information and health recordsConducts workplace assessments with regard to health issues and exposure follow-upAssists with implementation of health promotion strategies, including group and individual health education activitiesAnnual hearing testingOther duties as assignedThis is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-siteposition.Qualified candidates for the Industrial Nurse position should possess the following:Current license to practice as a licensed registered nurse. A bachelor’s degree in nursing and a license to practice as a registered nurse are preferredMinimum 3 years of nursing experience. Experience in occupational health or emergency nursing preferredKnowledge of case management, workers’ compensation, and OSHA regulations preferredExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills and ability to deal effectively with a variety of people and situationsAbility to handle confidential information with great sensitivityAbility to work with limited supervision and high motivationAbility to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlinesStrong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and HRIS system)Bilingual English/Spanish preferredKnowledge of audiometric hearing testing and daily calibrations isa plus, but not mandatoryMust be at least 18 years of age or older.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
