To learn more about playing for Team Amcor, visitwww.amcor.com|LinkedIn|YouTubeStarting wage is between $18.50 - $20.50 hourly, based on experience, plus added NIGHT SHIFT differential paySchedule: Manufacting facility, with a schedule at 12 hour shifts, 7 pm- 7 am CT, 3-4 days a week (every other week is 3 days a week, then 4 days a week).You must be on your feet (except for your breaks) while working your shift.Physical Stamina: The ability to stand for up to 12 hours at a time, walk, and lift heavy items up to 50 lbs. is crucial for this role in order to perform the essential duties.You must have reliable and dependable transportation.Provides visual, aesthetic, and quantifiable inspection of productInsures product meets or exceeds customer specificationsInsures that line changes are performed according to specificationsPerforms SOR qualificationsReviews and releases batch recordsCollects and inspects first shotsUtilizes JDE to place inventory on blocked status in audit area as requiredCleans production gauges and quality equipment in manufacturingReviews and updates Quality Department SOP’s and Work Instructions as needed.Transfers product internally and assists associates to do so through the use of internal product transfer forms.Assists production associates as needed.Follows applicable Food Safety, cGMP, and Safety policies.Performs other duties as assignedKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSWorking knowledge of Quality Assurance processes & GMP preferredComputer application skills preferredMust be capable of learning how to use gauges and measurement equipment as necessaryMust be self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as with others on projects and assigned tasksStrong problem-solving, organizational and interpersonal skills needed.Excellent organizational and communication skills (verbal and written) neededLANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Effective written and oral communication skills needed.REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
