At Sabey, collaboration and ingenuity aren’t just encouraged—they are the foundation for excellence.About this role:Sabey is looking for a highly motivated, new attorney with an interest in joining the in-house legal department at a growing real estate company. You will be joining a small, dynamic legal team with an opportunity to assist in a wide variety of contracts, transactions and general corporate areas.This position will report to the General Counsel and provide direct transactional support to internal groups as well as work closely with outside counsel on a variety of real estate and corporate related matters. The focus will include data center lease, license, and other commercial agreements.The annual salary range for this role is $110,00-$134,000.Your contribution will likely be:Provide transaction management and support for Sales executives, including drafting, review, and negotiation of data center lease agreements, amendments, carrier license agreements, and non-disclosure agreements.Provide support to Senior Corporate Counsel with real estate and corporate transactions, including acquisitions, easements, financing, sales, and related due diligence reviewProvide support to Property Management and Data Center Operations with review of vendor master service agreementsSupport Senior Corporate Counsel with general corporate matters and various legal projectsOther projects and duties as assignedExperience you will bring to the team:Proof of passed State Bar Exam and proof of good standingJ.D. from an ABA - accredited law school1+ years of relevant real estate experienceIn-house legal experience within a corporate setting preferredEstablished track record of success in legal matters in a continually changing work environmentProven experience reviewing, drafting and editing leases and other commercial contractsAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, without compromising quality of workStrong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility and desire to work both independently and as a team to meet deadlines and drive transactions to completionAbility to demonstrate strong problem solving and critical thinking skillsWillingness to continually improve processesAbility to provide outstanding service to a diverse group of internal stakeholders and Sabey’s customersAdvanced knowledge of the English language - excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of Sabey employees and business partnersProficiency with Microsoft Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on attention to detailMust be committed to continuous learning and growing within the organizationSabey’s investment in YOU: Sabey is committed to building an enduring, next-generation company that values and invests in the success of its team members.
