Operations Range Manager u2013 Special Warfare Training Squadron Job Category: Training Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US The Opportunity: As a Special Operations Forces Emerging Threats, Operations, and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) Operations Range Manager, you will support the United States Air Force (USAF) Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and the 350th Special Warfare Training Squadron (SWTS). You will be part of a newly formed Operations Section within the 350th SWTS, which is essential for the success and efficiency of 350th SWTS training programs directly supporting the u201cCommon Skillsu201d course readiness and capability of Special Warfare (SW) personnel. You will provide long-term management for Army, Air Force and other training ranges, including aircraft and airspace management. Exercise strong planning, coordination skills and knowledge of aircraft and airspace regulations, which are vital for strategic planning and execution of training events that require shooting, land navigation, assault zone and other Range coordination. Responsibilities: + Provide long-term range management for Army, Air Force, and other training ranges. + Oversee aircraft and airspace management. + Coordinate with various military branches to ensure optimal use of training ranges. + Facilitate the timely and accurate sharing of information among range personnel and stakeholders. + Identify potential training and/or scheduling risks and develop mitigation strategies. + Develop contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges or changes in the training and/or scheduling environment. Qualifications: _Required:_ + Candidates must have a minimum of four (4) years of experience supporting Special Warfare (SW) Operations. + Candidates must have a proven track record in managing and scheduling training ranges for SW personnel, including ground and air-related courses. + Secret Clearance _Desired:_ + Bacheloru2019s or advanced degree. + Combat and/or Hazardous Zone deployments in support of Special Operations Forces (SOF) Organizations. - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
